So my brothers and sisters, if there are any among us that are of the opinion that Torah was abolished which is to say then that Yeshua no longer exist, could it be possible you are of your father who is “the lawless one”? Ask yourself that question…. Let’s read: Yochanan 14:21 (NKJV AMP). The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by my Father and I [too] will love him and will reveal and manifest Myself to him, I will make Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him. So, if we have and keep His Commandments we see Yeshua introducing the Ruach HaKodesh in the following passage of scripture: Yochanan 14:16 NKJV AMP 16a. “And I will ask the Father and He will give you another Comforter”. So who is this Comforter? The scripture goes on to expound his attributes. The Ruach HaKodesh 16b. “He is our [Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby], that He may remain with you forever.” The following scripture verses will give you a little more understanding on the Ruach HaKodesh and what is His function in the Triune G-d.
1.
Bereshit
(Genesis) 41:38
- He is the origin of supernatural abilities Lets me elaborate on the phrase “He may remain with you forever” paying special attention to the word “forever”. In Yochanan 14:16 although Yeshua introduced the Ruach HaKodesh here, we must go back to Bereshit (Genesis) 1:2 (NJKV), where we find and I quote. “The earth was without form and void and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the spirit of G-d was hovering over the face of the waters.” So we see that the Ruach HaKodesh was from the very beginning of creation, as we continue again in Yochanan (John). Yochanan 14:17 NKJV AMP. We learn that the Ruach HaKodesh is. v17. “The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive [welcome, or take to its heart], because it does not see Him, know Him or recognize Him. But we know and recognize Him, for He lives with us [constantly] and will be in us”. Yochanan 14:24 NKJV. Yeshua said. “Anyone who does not [really] love Me does not observe and obey My teaching”. What are is teachings? They are His commandments, which is Torah. Yochanan 14:25 NKJV “I have told you these things while I am still with you.” Yochanan 16:7 NKJV “I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable and advantageous that I go away, if I do not go away the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) will not come, but if I go away I will send Him to you to be in close fellowship with you." Yochanan 14:26 NKJV AMP “But the Ruach HaKodesh, Whom the Father will send in my name [in My place to represent Me and act on My behalf] He will teach you all things, and He will cause you to recall, will remind you of, bring to your remembrance, everything I have told you.” Now remember, this is not to glorify the Ruach HaKodesh as I said earlier but merely to prepare us for a fresh and powerful infilling of the anointing to fall on us today (Day of Pentecost). Now that we are prepared, let’s read: Ma'asei Talmidim / Acts 2:2- 4 CJB. “The festival of Shavuot arrived, and the believers all gathered together in one place. Suddenly there came a sound from the sky like the roar of a violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then they saw what looked like tongues of fire, which separated and came to rest on each one of them. They were all filled with the Ruach HaKodesh and began to talk in different languages as the Spirit enabled them to speak.” So what can we expect this Shavuot weekend:
1. We can expect to
[Hear]
Sounds from the sky like the roar of a violent wind. I pray that each and every person realizes the importance and significance of this Shavuot weekend, not forgetting we are to NOT to come before the L-rd empty-handed but with a First-Fruit offering without spots or wrinkles. REMEMBER: We serve a holy G-d!!! So let us therefore remain in a state of Holiness so that a re-occurrence of ( Ma'asei Talmidim / Acts: 2) might be manifested. |
