The CMY Home School Co-op is a place where home schooling parents can educate their children and share resources with other Bible believing parents and students. Today, home schooling is one of the few ways we have left to give our children a Bible-based education, free from the growing problems of our school systems, without paying an arm and a leg for a private tuition. But home schoolers are also aware of the sacrifices made by both parents and children to do so. Parents give up work to teach, and children are often not able to socialize as much as they'd like.

CMY Home School Co-op aims to change all that with a totally new concept in home schooling. At the co-op, members can share all the resources that the co-op has to offer: play area; library; musical instruments; kitchen; and parent time for field trips. You and your children will be able to socialize with other believers, work among Godly role models and enjoy a Bible-based education in a protected environment. And parents will be able to "buddy up", one parent taking some children some days, another parent taking them on other days, to free up time for part-time work, study or other activities.
Curriculum The co-op will use The School of Tomorrow (formerly ACE) curriculum, a Canadian, Christian home school system that allows students to work at their own pace. Members will be able to buy the material at a significant discount off retail prices. Extra curricular subjects will also be offered such as Hebrew language, dance and sports programs.

Fees Members pay curriculum costs and a membership fee to cover school overheads. CMY Home School Co-op is an educational ministry of Congregation Melech Yisrael. Registered as Melech Yisrael Academy, the Home School Co-op is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International and attracts the Canadian tax credit of up to $3500.
