He is soon to return to Jerusalem to rule the nations for one thousand years, at the end of which time He will hand the Kingdom over to the Father, so that G-d may be all in all. (Zech.15:9; Luke 24:44-47; I Cor. 15:24-28). That Israel is G-d's chosen people. They have received an eternal Covenant with G-d in regards to the Messiah, Land, and all scriptural and spiritual promises, and like the Gentiles (who are with out hope and G-d in the world) must be cleansed from sin by the shed blood of the Messiah. Born again Jews and bom-again non-Jews remain Jews and non-Jews in Messiah after believing. Gentile believers have been grafted in with their Jewish Brethren to become fellow partakers of the Covenants and blessings of Israel and the richness of the Olive Tree (Israel). (Rom. 11:17-21; Deut.7:6- 10; Eph. 2:11-13; Heb.6:13-18). That sin is transgression against G-d's Torah, and can only be forgiven by faith in the blood atonement of Yeshua and repentance of sins. Coupled with confession of Messiah's resurrection there is salvation from the coming wrath upon the world and eternal separation from G-d. (Rom. 10:9; I Thes. 1:10). That the Messiah's death is remembered until He returns by celebrating the Pesach (Passover) Sader each year: involving the breaking of Matzot (symbolizing His body) and drinking from the cup (symbolizing His blood),and believing that Messiah our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed for us (1 Cor. 5:7: lsa.53:2-5 ). That upon acceptance of Yeshua as L-rd and Messiah, there is the immersion of baptism (Tevilah) in water as an outward sign of an inward salvation experience, symbolizing both the effect of the death and resurrection of Messiah in the believers life as well as the death of the "old man" and the resurrection into newness of life. (Rom.6:3; Matt.28:18-20). There is, after believing, the immersion of the Holy Spirit, whereby the believer obtains spiritual strength and power to witness the message of the gospel. (Acts 1:8,2:38, 10:44-48, 19:1-7). That the Scriptures teach the practice of all the Spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit as outlined in 1 Cor.12:14 and Rom.12:6-8. These are for the purpose of edifying the body of believers and bringing the body to maturity in Messiah. The believer should exhibit and grow in the fruit of the Spirit as described in Gal.5:22,23. That Jewish followers of Yeshua are called to maintain Jewish Biblical heritage and remain a part of the people of Israel and the universal body of believers. This is part of Jewish identity and witness to the faithfulness of G-d.(Ex. 19:5; Jer.31:35-37; Rom. 11:1-2). That G-d gave the practices of the Law for moral instruction and as a body of cultural-national practice - which would point forward to Messiah's work. The Law is valid as a reflection of G-d's righteous standard and as a means of preserving a distinct nation of Israel. Fulfillment by the work of Yeshua does not imply the abrogation of the Law. Righteousness with G-d is solely by grace through faith. (Deut.30:11-20; Deut.6:20-25; Ps. 19:7-14; Matt.5-.17-19; Rom.3:27-31, 6:23). That the nation of Israel is chosen by G-d to be a channel of blessing to all the nations on earth. The return of Jewish people to their land is in fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. The day will come when Israel as a nation will accept the Messiah Yeshua. Then shall the Word of G-d go forth from Zion. After Messiah Yeshua's return, He shall establish His world-wide rule from Jerusalem. (Gen.12:l-3: lsa.11: Zech. 12:10. 13:1). |
